THE CROW GIRLS ARE KAREN DONALDSON SHEPHERD AND JULIE GOLOSKY OLMSTED

Julie and Karen have been great friends for the better part of a decade. They met while performing in another group and enjoyed working together so much they decided to form The Crow Girls. Both of Cree Ancestry, Julie and Karen have now stitched together their own distinct blend of Folk, Roots, Indigenous and Celtic genres.

The Crow Girls have released their debut CD titled Where the Green Grass Grows.

Joining Julie and Karen during performances and in the studio is the wonderfully talented Sue Vaartstra. Sue, Julie and Karen bring their harmonies and intruments together to form a beautifully well rounded trio.

The Crow Girls have had fantastic opportunities to perform in and around Edmonton and Western Canada. Here is a list of some of those venues!
